Since the Columbine massacre there have been multiple school shootings every year. Tens of thousands of students have experienced such terror firsthand. Each of these events leave an impact and we are still in the fallout of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. For this episode, I'm joined once again by Faith Ward, a high school student who was born after Columbine and has always dealt with the fear of being shot on campus. We discuss how the recent violent event effected her community, how she helped launch a rally days after the MSD shooting, and what exactly she hopes the shouting, marching, and political engagement will lead to.
